How do I prepare the Para Bita Mix?

You can store the dried herbal blend in the provided pouch in a cool, dark place (such as a cupboard). When kept well sealed, the herbal mix can last more than a year.

What is the difference between Para Bita and Para Bita Mix?

The difference lies in the composition.

The Para Bita Mix contains an additional ingredient: Luangu Teetei.
Luangu Teetei consists of stems that can be steeped separately in hot water to make tea. In some traditions these stems may also be prepared in other ways, but for this tea mix only the infusion method is used.

Important to know: Para Bita naturally has a strong aroma and a very bitter taste.
For people who are not familiar with it, this may take some getting used to. The Para Bita Mix is intended for those who consciously want to experience this bitterness.

If Para Bita or the Para Bita Mix is new to you, it can be seen as a first introduction. For those who seek a stronger experience, the full Para Bita Mix may be an option.

How do I prepare the Para Bita Mix?

Bring water to a boil.

Use 2 tablespoons of chopped leaves per 250 ml of hot water.

Add 3 stems of Luangu Teetei.

Let the mixture steep for 7–10 minutes.

Strain the herbs and pour the tea into a cup.

Drink the tea as warm as desired.

How should I use the Para Bita Mix?

Maximum 1 cup per day

Do not use continuously for long periods

Always alternate with rest days

Use in moderation and listen to your body.

Can I create my own Para Bita Mix?

Yes. Within Surinamese herbal traditions it is common to purchase herbs separately and combine them according to personal preference.

By buying the individual herbs, you can create your own herbal combinations.

This FAQ explains traditional preparation and usage, but it is not intended as a fixed or mandatory recipe.

Shipping and Returns

Shipping

Shipping costs depend on the destination country, the size of the parcel and the weight of the shipment.

Orders are shipped using reliable carriers such as PostNL, DPD or other international shipping partners, depending on the destination and available shipping options.

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout.

Please make sure that the shipping address you provide is correct and complete. We cannot be held responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect address information.

Customers are responsible for checking whether herbal products are allowed to be imported into their country before placing an order.

Any customs duties, import taxes or local regulations that apply in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.

Processing and delivery

Orders are processed after payment has been received and confirmed.

Processing time:
1–3 working days

After shipment, delivery times depend on the destination country, shipping carrier and customs procedures.

Delivery times are therefore indicative and cannot be guaranteed.

Green Goodies & Herbs is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs inspections, international transport or circumstances beyond our control.

If a product is temporarily out of stock, you will receive an email with an updated shipping estimate.

During busy periods such as holidays or promotional campaigns, delivery times may vary.

Returns

Returns must be registered within 14 days after receiving your order.

Please contact our customer service first so we can provide the correct return instructions.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Only unopened, unused and undamaged products can be accepted for return.

Due to the nature of our products (dried leaves, powders and tinctures), opened or used items cannot be returned for hygiene and product safety reasons.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days after we have received and inspected the returned product.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after receiving your order.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person designated by you (other than the carrier), physically receive the product.

You may use the legal withdrawal form, although we recommend contacting us first so we can assist you quickly and provide the correct return instructions.

Changing an order

Would you like to add or change something after placing your order?

Subscriptions

At the moment we do not offer subscriptions yet.

We are working on making this possible in the future, so you will be able to receive your favorite products automatically and regularly.

Questions about shipping

Do you deliver to P.O. boxes?

No, we do not deliver to P.O. boxes.

When will I receive my order?

You can track your order once it has been shipped.

We do our best to ship all orders within 3 working days. Our shipping is fast, so you will usually receive your order a few days later.

Which countries do you currently ship to?

We currently ship to the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.

If you enter your address during checkout and a shipping rate appears, it means we can ship to your country.

Are import duties or taxes charged?

It rarely happens that import duties are charged, but it may occasionally occur depending on the destination country.

What happens if my shipment is returned to the sender?

If your shipment is returned to the sender due to an incorrect address or because the package was not collected, the customer will need to pay the shipping costs again for resending the parcel.

If it turns out that the mistake was on our side, we will of course cover the shipping costs.

Warranty and returns

Inspection upon receipt

Because we work with natural products and hygiene is very important, we cannot accept opened or used products for return.

To prevent fraud, we ask you to record a short video of approximately 30 seconds while opening the envelope or parcel.

A return request can only be processed when:

  • the packaging is still sealed (seal not broken), and

  • the video clearly shows that the product was damaged or incorrectly delivered immediately upon opening.

Important: return requests without this video and without an intact seal will not be accepted.
